This is our proposed itinerary for our trip. There are large holes that aren’t planned at all (I think they’ll be the best bits 
). All times are in local times of the country.

| 26/11/2006 | 6:15am arrive in Dubai (U.A.E.) - Stay 3 nights at “Rush Inn” |
| 29/11/2006 | 7:50am depart Dubai on Emirates Flight EK 97 arrive at 11:10am in Rome Meet Mel in airport - Stay 2 nights at “Hotel Alessandro Palace”. |
| 1/12/2006 | Afternoon pick up car (Peugeot 307 Wagon) from Rome Airport Drive to Naples, stay the night outside Naples |
| 2/12/2006 | Head into Naples by bus. See Pompeii. Stay the night outside Naples |
| 3/12/2006 | Drive up coast through Tuscany to Pisa (550km). Stay the night in Pisa |
| 4/12/2006 | Spend the day in Pisa. Afternoon/Evening drive/arrive in Florence (100km). Stay the night in Florence. |
| 5/12/2006 | Spend day in Florence. Drive in afternoon to Venice (265km). Stay the night at “”. |
| 6/12/2006 | Afternoon drive to Verona via Padua (120km). Stay the night in Verona. |
| 7/12/2006 | Leave early in morning and drive to Milan (160km). Meet up with Alex (Sam’s Swedish friend from college), stay the night in Milan. |
| 8/12/2006 | Leave Milan morning/lunch. Drive through Turin (France) to Nice. Stay night in Nice or somewhere near Monaco |
| 9/12/2006 | Drive to Marseille (over 600km). Stay somewhere in Marseille. |
| 10/12/2006 | Drive to Barcelona (600km). Watch Barcelona vs Real Sociedad at Camp Nou Stay 2 nights in Barcelona |
| 12/12/2006 | Drive to Valencia (349km). Stay in Valencia. |
| 13/12/2006 | Drive to Cuenca. Stay in Cuenca. |
| 14/12/2006 | Drive to Madrid. Stay 2 nights in Madrid. |
| 16/12/2006 | Drive to Pamplona (400km). Stay in Pamplona. |
| 17/12/2006 | Drive through Lourdes. Making our way up through France in 5 days, stay various places. |
| 21/12/2006 | Arrive in Paris, Mel leaves for London, Drop off Car at CDG airport. Stay 5 nights at “Le Regent Montmartre”. |
| 25/12/2006 | Chrismas day in Paris. Visit Disneyland. |
| 26/12/2006 | Lachlan flies to London. 6pm we fly to Stockholm on Scandinavian Airlines Flight 575. 8:30pm arrive in Sweden. |
| 27/12/2006 | Sam’s 21st Birthday |

Spend next 3 weeks in Sweden with Sam’s Swedish college friends (in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Kalmar).
Hopefully travelling to Denmark, Germany and Netherlands out of Sweden. |

| 26/01/2007 | 6:45am arrive in Dubai. 8:40am depart Dubai on Emirates Flight EK 432, stopover in Singapore. |
| 27/01/2007 | 6:35am arrive in Brisbane. |
